Handmade Rakhi Envelope

You Will Need:

Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky - White 707, Blue 702, Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Hobby Ideas Metallic Paper, A4 Sized Drawing Sheet, White Carbon Paper, Pencil, Eraser, Ruler, Paper Cutter, Scissors, Fevicol MR.

Description :

Make beautiful handmade rakhi envelopes for decorative rakhis and add that touch of love and make it special by either gifting it to special people or using it yourself. Make them traditionally or personalise them ,the choice is yours, either ways it is sure to be appreciated.

 

STEP 1
Take an A4 sized drawing sheet and draw the template for an envelope on it for an envelope reference. And a cute little girl graphic for the second envelope.
STEP 2
Take a blue A4 sized metallic paper and create the same envelope template on it, Cut the template finely using a paper cutter. Make the necessary folds as per the diagram for sticking purposes.
STEP 3
Take an orange metallic paper and create the envelope template. Stick the folds for making the envelope using Fevicol MR. Leave it to dry. Repeat the same for the other envelope.
STEP 4
Trace 3/4th part of a circular mandala design on the left corner of the envelope using white carbon paper.
STEP 5
For the orange envelope trace the cute little girl graphic reference on it using white carbon paper. Outline the entire design using Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky - White 707.
STEP 6
For the orange envelope make the outline of the girl graphic using Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Pearl Metallic - Gold 352.
STEP 7
Write “Happy Raksha Bandhan” on the orange envelope using Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky - Blue 702 and on the blue envelope using Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky - White 707.
