Handmade Patua Painting Inspired Jewellery
You Will Need:
Fevicyl Acrylic Colours, Fevicyl Mouldit, Ring and hook (earrings), Press button (bracelet), Chain (pendant), Buckram/Fusing canvas, Fabric
Description :
Motif of a Patua Painting (from the internet) incorporated in my jewellery set. The painting is done on fabric for the pendant, earrings and bracelet.
STEP 1
Paint the motifs on the fabric. Cut out the required sizes.
The Pendant is stuck on Fevicyl Mouldit for a good base. Mould the Fevicyl's mould-it depending on size
and shape. Stick fabric on it after the Mouldit dries and seal the fabric edges using more of the Mouldit. Make loops of Mouldit for insertion of chain.
For earrings and bracelet fusing canvas/buckram has been used for the base. Place the fusing canvas in position and iron. Machine stitch 2 sides (right facing right). Invert it inside out and slip stitch the 2 remaining sides. Attach the ring for earrings through the fabric and then attach hook. Stitch the press button on the bracelet.
.
And easy product to make but a bit time consuming.
