Description :
A vase where we have created a grunge effect like rocks with Mouldit. A technique that teaches you how textures can be created with clay tools and then painted with Acrylic Colours.
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- We are going to decorate a glass vase using Fevicryl Mouldit.
- Take a glass vase of your choice.
STEP 2 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
- Take Fevicryl Mouldit - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to form an even dough.
STEP 3 : Clay slab technique
- Roll it to make a thin slab with a rolling pin.
STEP 4 : Prepare the dough
- Cover the vase with the slab using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Make the details
- Take the clay, make an ornamental design using clay carving tools and Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Final touches
- Paint dots on the base with Fevicryl 3D Outliner - White 707 in between the design to give a raised effect. Let it dry.
- Paint the design on the vase with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Mauve 15, Ultramarine Blue 23, Salmon Pink 65, Pearl Metallic - Silver and Pearl Metallic - Gold 352
- Let it dry completely.
