Give a contemporary and chic look to your home décor with this pretty DIY. Florals painted in unique patterns and shades on an earthen pot lends a look that different and ethnic.

STEP 1 : Source the base

Take a plain terracotta pot / tall vase. Wash it well and let it dry completely.

STEP 2 : Paint the base coat

Paint the pot with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour – White 27, let it dry.

STEP 3 : Painting a black shade

Paint the pot with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, let it dry.

STEP 4 : Drawing the floral pattern

Using a white pencil, draw a floral pattern around the pot distributing it well and in a balanced manner.

STEP 5 : Start painting

Begin painting the floral pattern using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours – White 27 and Prussian Blue 19.

STEP 6 : Start painting

Continue painting using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Dark Brown 05, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Teal Blue 68, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Sparkling Pearl - Turquoise Blue 905, like you see in the image.

STEP 7 : Final look

Once ready the pot would look like this.
