You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Golden Yellow 09, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Crimson 04, Indian Red 10, Black 02, Light Green 12, Fevicryl Sparkling Pearl Colours - Golden Black 917, Cherry Red 916, Dark Blue 904, Gold Dust 918, Light Green 909, Poppy Red 901, Fevicryl Pearl Colour - White 301, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Pearl - Black 306, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes Water Container, Colour Palette, A3 sized White Drawing Paper, Red Carbon Paper, A3 sized Jute Cloth, Assorted Wooden Beads, Pencil, Eraser, Scissors

Description :

This painted jute patchwork is a cool way to give a designer look to a otherwise plane denim dress. This jute fabric which is so commenly used for making bags gives an entirely different look and texture to the design created.
 

 

 

STEP 1
Take a ready denim dress Take approximately an A3 sized jute fabric
STEP 2
Draw abstract faces on a white paper to fit the bottom flare of the dress Trace the design on the jute fabric using red carbon paper
STEP 3
Cut out the faces from the jute fabric Colour them using Sparkling Pearl Colours - Golden Black, Cherry Red, Dark Blue, Gold Dust, Light Green, Poppy Red, Pearl Color White, Acrylic Colours - Golden Yellow, White, Cerulean Blue, Crimson, Indian Red, Black and Light Green
STEP 4
Trace the design on the bottom flare of the dress Stick the painted faces using No Stitch Fabric Glue Allow it to dry
STEP 5
Paint the remaining area on the dress with Acrylic Colours - Indian Red and Black and give dots with Light Green Outline the design with 3D Outliner Pearl Metallic - Black Leave it to dry Further enhance the design by sticking wooden beads for the earrings
