Decoupage With Magazine Cut Outs

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Black 02, Fine Art Brushes, Fevicryl Modge Podge, Colour Palette, MDF Wooden Decoupage Tissue Box , Water Container, Old Magazine, Pencil, Ruler, Scissors

Description :

With the use of easily available materials like old magazine papers that can be used to design some nice collage work in decoupage technique with Fevicryl Modge Podge. Select the papers with few nice prints and colours and stick them on the tissue box in an arrangement of your choice. You may use the papers to match your decor.

STEP 1
Colour the tissue box in a base coat of Acrylic Colour - Black You may give two to three coats for an even finish Let it dry
STEP 2
Take an old magazine and tear few sheets of paper with some nice textures and designs. You may choose the colours in the design as well
STEP 3
We have used strips of papers for the sides of the tissue box and cut in different thicknesses Apply an even coat of Fevicryl Modge Podge on the paper and stick it on the tissue box Each paper strip is stuck leaving a gap of 2 mm to reveal the black background The top portion of the box is a collage of papers, cut in squarish shapes Leave it to dry Give an even coat of Fevicryl Modge Podge on the papers stuck as a varnish . Fevicryl Modge Podge dries clear
