You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, White 27, Coral Red 66, Neon Pink 018, Fevicryl 3D Outliner White 301, Fevicryl 3D Liner Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Wooden Box, MDF Wooden Round Coasters, Ornamental Stones (Pink, White), Half Cut Pearls, Round Shape Mirrors, Dotillism Tools, A4 White Paper, White Carbon Paper, A3 White Gateway Paper, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Who doesn’t love a nice old jewellery box and moreso when it is as beautiful as this! Give yourself a gift this Diwali by transforming your plain old box into a decorative one using Fevicryl products.
STEP 1 : Making the design
• We are going to make the decorative Jewellery box.
• Take an A3 Gateway paper. Draw the rectangle in the size of the box, place the MDF wooden coaster and mark three radiating circles with a compass in the rectangle. Draw the ornamental border design around the circles in the size of the lid of the box.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 2 : Draw the designs for the walls of the box
• Similarly make the design for the walls of the box.
STEP 3 : Take 2 coasters
• Take two MDF wooden circles measuring approximately 2” and 3” diameter in size.
STEP 4 : Painting and drawing the design on the circle
• Paint the circles with Acrylic Colour Black 02.
• Let it dry completely.
• Take an A4 white paper; draw the floral ornamental design in the size of the circles on it.
• Trace the same design on the painted circles with a white carbon paper.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Enhancing the circles
• Take the two circles. Stick the ornamental stones (white, pink) on the smaller circle and the big circle with Fabric Glue by following the design. Let it dry.
• Enhance the ornamental design using dotillism technique, in the big circle, with Acrylic colours White 27, Coral Red 66, Neon Pink 018 and 3 D Outliner Pearl White 301. Let it dry.
• Stick the small circle on the big circle with Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 6 : Clean the box
• Take the wooden box and clean it, for decorating.
STEP 7 : Paint the box
• Paint the box with two shades using Acrylic Colours Black and Pink made by mixing Acrylic Colours White 27, Coral Red 66 and Neon Pink 018. Let it dry completely.
• Trace the floral ornamental design on the lid as well as on the walls of the box with a white carbon paper.
• The tracing for the walls of the box will look like this.
STEP 8 : Decorate the border
• Decorate the border design on the box by leaving the centre circle using pink colour ornamental stones and half cut pearls with Fabric Glue.
• Paint the dotillism effect around the ornamental stones and pearls using shade of the pink made by mixing Acrylic Colours White 27, Coral Red 66 and Neon Pink 018
• Let it dry completely.
• Enhance the outline of the border with 3D Outliner Pearl White 301 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
• Similarly paint and enhance the design on the walls of the box.
• Let it dry.
STEP 9 : Assembly
• Stick the circles one on the other on the lid of the box with Fabric Glue.
• Enhance the area around the stuck circles by sticking the half cut pearls and the round shape mirrors along with the dotillism technique with Acrylic colours White 27, Coral Red 66, Neon Pink 018 and 3D Outliner Pearl White 301.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 10
• Your final box will look like this after decorating it.
