Decorative Broken Vase

You Will Need:
Fevicryl Shilpkar,Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Magenta 13, White 27,Golden Yellow 09, Crimson 04, Black 02,Fevicryl Sparkling Pearl Colour- Light green 909, Violet 906, Dark Blue 904,Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue,Fine Art Brushes,Pallet.Broken terracotta vase,Talcum powder,Sandpaper.
Description :
Up-cycle a broken vase.STEP 1
Smoothen, the broken edges of the terracotta vase by rubbing sandpaper on it.
Wash and dry the pot.
STEP 2
Paint the outside of the vase using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- White.
Leave to dry.
STEP 3
Paint the vase using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Crimson, Magenta and Golden Yellow. Refer picture.
Leave to dry.
STEP 4
Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.
STEP 5
Take Shilpkar dough and make small balls for grapes, thin long coils for tendrils, leaves and flowers.
Stick the grapes, tendrils, leaves and flowers on the vase using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Refer picture.
Leave to harden.
STEP 6
Paint the grapes, tendrils, leaves and flowers using Fevicryl Sparkling Pearl Colour- Light green, Violet, Dark Blue and Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- White, Golden Yellow.
Leave to dry.
STEP 7
Paint a sun set scene on the inner side of the vase using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Crimson, White, Black, Golden Yellow and Fevicryl Sparkling Pearl Colour- Blue. Refer picture.
Leave to dry.
STEP 8
Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
Leave to dry.
