Description :
For Coffee Time - A coffee table with a difference. All nuances that pertain to coffee have been randomly depicted on this table top. Ideal for a garden space or verandah, with friends and conversations. We have used the decoupage technique here which has brought the entire concept alive keeping to earthy tones as well.

For the tyre cushion - Well who could imagine this!!!!! a redundant tyre can be made into a comfy and cosy cushion on which one can happily perch on for hours on end. Made with basic and simple material, it's the concept that has elevated this simple project.
STEP 1
Take an 8mm thick plywood that measures 22” x 22” in size.
STEP 2
Paint the square shaped plywood with a base coat of Acrylic Colour - White 27. Leave it to dry. Divide the plywood in such a way, that you will get rectangles of different sizes in a composite manner. Take 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky - White 707 in a bowl, add little amount of Acrylic Colour - Burnt Sienna 01 in it. Mix the colours thoroughly to form an even paste. Create the texture using a comb in any two of the rectangles using the colour paste that has been made. Leave it to dry.
STEP 3
Take an A4 sized colour printouts of vintage postcards and letters. Take the printouts and hold it near the candle flame so that you get rough and random burnt edges, which gives an age old look. Stick the printouts aesthetically in the rectangles to give a decoupage effect using Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry.
STEP 4
Take the plain readymade mosaic pieces and paint it with shades of light and dark brown using Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Dark Brown 05, Golden Yellow 09 and White 27. Leave it to dry. Stick the painted mosaic pieces in between the decoupage design with Fabric Glue. Take the jute fabric and cut it into a rectangle. Stick the jute piece to complete the look of the composition using Fabric Glue.
STEP 5
Write few words related to coffee like “Cappuccino, Irish Coffee, Coffee Time, Cacao” randomly on the table top. Paint the words with Acrylic Colour - Dark Brown 05. Leave it to dry.
STEP 6
Take an A4 sized yellow ochre and brown coloured felt fabric and a piece of jute fabric. Draw and cut few small and big sized coffee cups from the felt and jute fabric. Stick the coffee cups aesthetically on the table top using Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry. You can place the glass top on the table and here you have you coffee table for conversations and cups of coffees!!! TYRE CUSHION:
