Cat Mood Tiles
You Will Need:
Black 02, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours Kit (Tomato Red, Golden Yellow, Crystal Green, Pink, Orange, Sea Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Black, White), Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, MDF Coasters 4”×4” Size, Rolling Pin, Clay Carving Tools, A3 White Paper, Pencil, Scissors, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :
Cats painted on small tiles for all cat lovers. They are cute and would add an element of vibrancy wherever you decide to put them. They have been painted using Fevicryl Glass Colours to get a stained-glass effect.
STEP 1 : Draw the design
- Draw three representations of cats with candid expressions, measuring 4” x 4” in size on an A3 white paper.
- We are going to make engraved tiles using Fevicryl Mouldit and Glass Colours.
STEP 2 : Procure the base
- You will need to take an MDF coaster measuring 4” x 4” size, to paste the clay engraved tile on them later.
STEP 3 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
- Take Mouldit - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to form an even dough.
STEP 4 : Make the slab
- Roll it to make a thin slab with a rolling pin.
- Mark and cut the tile into the size of the coasters with a paper cutter.
STEP 5 : Trace the design
- Trace the cat designs on it, then engrave the design with clay carving tools. Let it dry.
- Make six such tiles.
- Paint the tiles with Acrylic Colour - Black 02, wipe out the colour neatly.
- This will leave dark shades in the groves of the engraved design.
STEP 6 : Paint the design
- Paint the tiles with Glass Colours - Tomato Red, Golden Yellow, Crystal Green, Pink, Orange, Sea Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Black and White.
- Let it dry completely.
