Card With Irish Folds
You Will Need:
Fevicol MR, A4 Sized Thick Handmade Paper, Origami Shimmer or Shiny Papers, Quilling Paper Strips , Cutter, Ruler, Scissors
Description :
This beautiful heart shaped card made using the Irish fold technique is a gift for all occasions. It's simple and easy to make and is a wonderful handmade gift for your loved ones.
STEP 1
Take an A4 sized thick card paper and fold it half to make a card
STEP 2
Draw a big heart shape in the centre of the card
STEP 3
Cut out the shape using a paper cutter
STEP 4
Take origami shimmer papers and cut them in small rectangular shapes measuring 4" x 1" in size
Fold the rectangular paper in the centre to make the Irish folds
STEP 5
Start arranging and sticking the Irish folded papers from the rear side of the cut out with Fevicol MR, so as to get a kaleidoscopic pattern on the front side of the card
STEP 6
Create a rectangular border using quilling strips around the heart shape and stick a triangular shaped shimmer paper on each corner
