You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, White 27, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Big Paint Brushes, Tissue Paper, Wooden Plank, Metal Hooks, Googly Eyes, Card Paper, Cotton, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container.

STEP 1 : Take the Brushes
• We are going to make the mixed media brush Santa key holder for home décor. • Take plain 3 big sized paint brushes.
STEP 2 : Cover the Brush Handle
• Cover the handle of the brushes by sticking the tissue paper using Fabric Glue. • Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Painting the Brushes
• Paint the covered handles of the brushes by creating the patterns of the lines, polka dots and the stars to depict as the cap of the Santa using Acrylic Colours Crimson 04 and White 27. • Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 4 : Mixing Mouldit
• We are going to make the hollies (cherry and the leaves) with Mouldit for the cap of the Santa. • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 5 : Making the leaves and cherries
• Take the dough to make the leaves and the cherries out of it. • Let it get semi dry to make the hollies for the cap of the Santa. • Stick the hollies appropriately on the cap with Fabric Glue. • Leave it to dry.
STEP 6 : Painting the hollies
• Paint the hollies with Acrylic Colours Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11 and Light Green 12. • Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Cutting the bristles
• Cut the bristles of the brush to give the shape of the beard of the Santa. • Paint the beard with Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry • Take the card paper. Mark and cut the oval shape nose out of it. • Paint it with Acrylic Colours Crimson 04 and stick it appropriately on the bristles area of the brush along with the googly eyes using Fabric Glue. • Leave it to dry.
STEP 8 : Placing the hooks
• Take the wooden plank measuring 4” x 15” in size. • Paint it with Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry. • Pierce the hooks on one side of the plank after fixing the space for the brush Santa.
STEP 9 : Pasting the Santa Brush
• Stick the brush Santa on the plank with little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue. • Leave it to dry completely.
