Create charming and unique clay bowls using Mouldit and acrylic colors. This project involves preparing the clay slab, marking the design, cutting the slab, shaping the bowls, finishing the clay work, and painting the bowls with vibrant colors.

STEP 1 : Prepare the clay slab and mark the design
  • Mix Fevicryl Mouldit resin base and hardener thoroughly to create an even dough. Roll out the dough to form a slab.
  • Use wooden blocks with designs or tools to create impressions on the slab. Place a template on the slab and mark the outline for the bowl.
STEP 2 : Cut the slab
  • Cut the slab according to the template and the markings made for the bowl outline. Refer to the image for guidance.
STEP 3 : Build the shape
  • Overlap the given cuts on the slab to build the shape of the bowl according to the template.
STEP 4 : Finishing of the clay bowl
  • Repeat the process to create additional bowls using templates and wooden blocks to create impressions on the slab. Allow the bowls to dry completely. Refer to the image for guidance.
STEP 5 : Paint the Bowls
  • Paint the bowls using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Teal Blue 68, Pearl Lilac 307, and Pearl Metallic Bronze 355. Ensure an even coat and let the paint dry completely.
