Blue Pottery Inspired Wall Clock

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27, Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Cone Regular Blue 702, Fevicryl Glass Colours Water Based Sea Blue 853, Mdf Wooden Round Placematt, Colour Palette, Water Container, A4 sized white paper, Yellow carbon Paper, Pencil, Ruler, A3 Sized Drawing Paper, Clock Movements, Sponge

Description :

This Blue pottery inspired Wall Clock is easy to make and makes a wonderful handmade gift. The use of vibrant colours gives it a bright colourful look with a slight raised effect.

 

STEP 1
Take a MDF wooden Decoupage round placematt You may take a square, Rectangular or an oval shaped placematt
STEP 2
Mark the center point to drill the hole for the clock movement to be attached You may drill a hole now or later once yiu have finished paintign the wall clock
STEP 3
Give a base coat of acrylic colour white on the placematt You may give 2 to 3 coates for an even finish
STEP 4
Draw the Blue pottery inspired design for the clock, in appropriate size on a white paper You may take the design references from the internet Trace the design on the placematt using carbon paper
STEP 5
Outline the design using Liquid Embroidery Cone Regular Blue Leave it to dry
STEP 6
Fill in the Glass Colours Water Based Sea Blue in the design Leave it to dry
STEP 7
Drill a hole in the centre
STEP 8
Fit the clock movement on the painted placemat Make a loop using a thik cord or a jute cord and stick it behind the placematt for the clock to be hung on the wall
