You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours – Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Water Container, A4 Sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Ruler, A Blue Clutch Or A Clutch In The Colour, Size And Shape Of Your Choice

Description :

Paint a bird design using simple and basic techniques of painting on fabric. We have painted a kingfisher bird, but you may get inspired to paint any bird of your choice. Take a photo reference of the bird and follow the step by step process to paint it on any fabric surface

STEP 1
Take a photo reference of a kingfisher bird or the bird of your choice
STEP 2
Draw the outline of the bird on an a4 sized white paper Decide the size of the bird as per the surface size that you want to paint on Divide the areas of different colour shades on the birds body using pencil outlines, that will make it easy to decide and paint the colour shades for different areas
STEP 3
Take a clutch
STEP 4
Trace the design on the clutch using a carbon paper
STEP 5
Start colouring the body of the bird, painting each section one by one using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours in appropriate shades. We have coloured the bird with the warm colour shades by mixing Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow, Crimson, Lemon Yellow and White
STEP 6
Further complete the bird using blue and green shades for the feathers, eyes and the beak
STEP 7
Colour the branch as per the photo reference that we have shown Leave it to dry
