You Will Need:
Fevicryl Fabric Glue Premium, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Black, Ready Wooden Stool, Paper, Pencil, Compass, Tracing Paper, Masking Tape, Scissors, Ohp Sheet, CD Marker, Carbon Paper ( White/Yellow), Cotton Fabric (Plain And Printed In Different Shades Of Green), Thick Cotton Fabric (Black), Broad Gota Patti Lace

Here is an amazing DIY of a wooden stool with geometric design on the seating made using Fevicryl Fabric Glue Premium
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- Take a small round wooden foot stool measuring 28cm x 20 cm as seen in the image.
STEP 2 : Trace the design
- Sketch out the design on a sheet of paper or create it digitally keeping in mind the size of your table.
- The size would be based on the seating you have chosen.
STEP 3 : Source cotton fabric
- Choose 1 heavy cotton fabric for the base and thin cotton fabrics for the design.
- Make sure to have different atleast 2 different patterns to bring some texture to the design.
STEP 4 : Transfer the design
- Transfer the design to black fabric.
- Use white carbon sheet to transfer the design.
- Make sure to leave atleast 4” on all sides for stitching.
STEP 5 : Transfer and cut
- Transfer individual parts of the pattern on to different fabrics.
- Cut them using fabric scissors and fold them to the desired shape.
- Iron them to keep them in shape.
STEP 6 : Gota Lace
- Take a gota patti lace which is atleast 2”-3” broad.
STEP 7 : Cutting of lace
- Transfer the diamond design on to the lace and cut it.
- Make sure to apply a thin layer of Fevicryl Fabric Glue Premium at the back to stop fraying.
STEP 8 : Different cut out elements
- Cut all your shapes from different fabrics as shown.
STEP 9 : Sticking of pieces
- Stick the pieces on to the base to form the design.
- Stick them using Fevicryl Fabric Glue Premium.
- Let it dry.
STEP 10 : Stitching of fabric
- Get the sides stitched as shown in the image to form a cap like piece.
STEP 11
- This is how it will look on the front side after stitching.
- Cut a small flower using one of the green fabric and stick it in the middle using fevicryl fabric glue premium.
- Cut a small circle and stick that in the middle of the flower.
- Let them dry
- Take Fevicryl 3D Outliner black and give stitch like effect to the pieces stuck.
- Let it dry.
STEP 12 : Final touches
- Put the cover/cap on to the stool and adjust it so that it sits properly.
STEP 13 : Final look
Black and Green Geometric stool is ready to be used; either to sit on during puja and festivities or as a seating in your reading room.
