Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Maroon 14, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27, Greenery 67, Fine Art Brushes, Recycled Box, A3 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Yellow Wool, Scissors, Colour Palette, Water Container

A plain wooden box with patterns from Art Nouveau style are painted using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours.

STEP 1 : Source the base material
  • Take a plain wooden box. We have taken a recycled wooden box to create this piece of art.
  • Take an A3 white paper, draw an Art Nouveau design with flora and fauna in the size of the lid and the walls of the box.
STEP 2 : Paint the base coat
  • Paint the box with a base coat of Acrylic Colour - White 27.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Draw and trace the design
  • Trace this design on the box with yellow carbon paper.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
  • Paint the design on the lid with Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Maroon 14, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27 and Greenery 67.
  • Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 5 : Finishing touches
  • The lid of the box would look like this.
STEP 6 : Final touches
  • The box will look like this from the from the sides.
STEP 7 : Final look
  • Take yellow wool to make tassels for the box. Attach the tassels on the knob of the box.
  • Your box once ready would look like this.
