It is festive time already and let us celebrate it in style with this kulhad diya dangler! Made with oh so rustic earthen cups these look so cool when converted into a nice diya hanging with Fevicryl range of products.
STEP 1 : Source the base and paint them
- We are going to paint the kulhad with Aipan design and make the decorative dangler for Diwali.
- Take the plain prewashed terracotta kulhad.
- Paint the kulhad with the base coat of Acrylic colour white 27 and then Crimson 04.
- Let it dry.
STEP 2 : Transfer the design
- Take A4 white paper, draw the Aipan design in the size of the periphery of the kulhad on it.
- Trace the same design on it with white carbon paper.
STEP 3 : Paint the design
- Paint the design with 3D Outliner- White 707.
- Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Assemble and dangle them
- Take golden cord, attach the cord to each kulhad and dangle it together.
- Attach the fairy lights to it and decorate your home on the festival of lights.
