This Holi, serve your thandai or sweets in this colourful and beautiful mandala designed tray made using 3D Outliners and Glass Colours.

STEP 1 : Procure the base & paint the base coat
  • Take a plain wooden tray.
  • We are going to make a Mandala design using 3D Outliners and Glass Colours.
  • Paint the tray with a base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
STEP 2 : Draw and trace the design
  • Take A3 white paper, draw the mandala design on it in the size of the tray.
  • Trace the same design on the tray with yellow carbon paper.
STEP 3 : Paint the outline
  • Paint the outline of the design with 3D Outliner White 707. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Paint the design & finishing touches
  • Paint the design using Glass Colours and Acrylic Colour Crimson 04 for the outer & inner edges of the tray. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Final look
  • Your tray with Glass Colour is ready, secure the design on the tray with varnish spray or an Acrylic Sheet. You can also use OHP sheet for the same.
