Wolf In Lipan Art Style
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - White 27, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, MDF Placemat 12” Diameter, A3 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Assorted Mirrors, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container

A replacement for the well-known mud and mirror work art, which is acclaimed as Lipan Art, we have used the same technique to make this beautiful home décor item.
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- Take a MDF plank measuring 12” diameter.
- Take an A3 white paper, draw the face of a wolf on it.
- We are going to use Lipan art style to create this article.
STEP 2 : Trace the design
- Trace the same wolf on the plank with yellow carbon paper,
STEP 3 : Prepare the dough
- Take Fevicryl Mouldit - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to form an even dough.
- Make coils of Mouldit and start pasting them by following the tracing of the wolf.
STEP 4 : Make the coils
- Roll it to make the coils out of it.
- Stick the coils on the outline of the wolf face using Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Paint the base coat
- The finished coil work will look like this.
- Paint the base coat with Acrylic Colour - White 27.
- Let it dry.
- Start sticking the assorted mirrors in the design using Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 6 : Final touches & look
- The finished design of the wolf in Lipan art will look like this.
