Take any old/used winnowing basket. We are going to make a wall décor piece using Mouldit and Acrylic Colours. 

Paint the base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.

Paint the final base coat of aqua green shade by mixing Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Green 06, White 27 and Teal Blue 68. Let it dry.

Take A3 white paper, draw the typo for the occasion “Cooking is love made visible” along with few kitchen related motifs like the utensils, spoon, fork, pan, chef cap and whisk on it. Trace the same on the winnowing basket and paint it with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02 and White 27. Let it dry.

We are going to make replicas of Gunny bags of grains using Fevicryl Mouldit. Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix well to make even dough. Take the dough, roll it to make a thin slab with rolling pin. Make the shape of the gunny bag from the slab using clay carving tools and paste the ends using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

Take some clay to make the effect of grains like rice, wheat, lentils and dry peas using clay carving tools. Stick the grains appropriately in the gunny bag with Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.  Paint the grains as well write a few loving words for your mom like “Care, Nurturing, Unconditional and Affection on the bags with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour white 27. Let it dry.

Paint the grains using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Brown 05 and White 27. Let it dry. Refer to the image.

Attach and stick the gunny bags aesthetically on the winnowing basket using little amount of the dough and Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
