You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17, White 27, Coral Red 66, Fevicryl Mouldit, 12” x 16” Fine Art Canvas Board, Fine Art Brushes, Natural twigs, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container

Wabi Sabi is a Japanese philosophy of with the view of acceptance of imperfection in nature. Taking inspiration from this philosophy we have created this canvas using Fevicryl Mouldit and some twigs. Isn’t this just lovely!
STEP 1 : Mix Mouldit Resin and Hardener
• We are going to make a canvas inspired from the Japanese aesthetics Wabi- Sabi.
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Create spoons
• Take the dough and create different types of the spoon bowls using clay, with pinching technique or you can take different shaped spoons to take out the mould of the same.
• Let it get semi dry.
• Take the natural twigs or the dried sticks of about 1” diameter thickness to make the hands of the spoon.
• Attach the spoon base to the twig hand to complete the look of the spoons.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 3 : Select a canvas
• Take the canvas measuring 12” x 16” in size.
STEP 4 : Paint the canvas
• Paint the canvas with the shade of orange made by mixing Acrylic Colours Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17, White 27 and Coral Red 66.
• Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Typography
• Take the painted canvas and write the message “Beautiful things are never perfect” with a light shade of yellow made by mixing Acrylic Colours Golden Yellow 09 and White 27.
• Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Assembly
• Paint the spoon bowl using Acrylic Colours Golden Yellow 09 and White 27.
• Let it dry.
• Stick the spoons bellow the message with a little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
• Leave it to dry.
