Tribal Faces On A Diary

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02, Fevicryl 3 D Neon Outliners Kit, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Plain Diary, Casement Fabric, Ruler, Pencil, Scissors, Colour Palette, Water Container.

How cool is this mixed media diary cover! Tribal masks made with Fevicryl Mouldit are giving it a super eclectic look.

STEP 1 : Mixing Mouldit
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Rolling the dough
• Take the dough; roll it to make the slab using rolling pin. • Mark and cut the oval shapes, take some clay to make the facial details like lips, eyes and nose neatly.
STEP 3 : Making the masks
• Make about 9 to 10 such tribal masks. • Let it dry completely.
STEP 4 : Painting the masks
• Paint the masks with the base coat of Acrylic Colour Black 02. Let it dry completely. • Paint the design like dots, zig- zag lines, and spiral patterns on the masks with 3 D Neon Outliners Yellow 709, Green 710, Orange 711 and Pink 712. • Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 5 : Sticking the masks.
• Take the diary and cover it with the casement fabric by sticking the ends inside the diary using Fabric Glue. Let it dry. • Stick the painted faces on the covered diary with Fabric glue. • Let it dry.
