Create an intricate tree mural on canvas using Fevicryl Mouldit and vibrant Glass Colours. This advanced clay modelling project adds a stunning touch to your home decor.
STEP 1 : Procure the Base and Trace the design
- We are going to make a canvas with a tree mural design using Mouldit and Glass Colours.
- The design will include tree, fish, and water motifs.
- Draw the designs on A3 white paper.
- Take two 12” x 12” canvas boards and trace the designs onto them using yellow carbon paper.
STEP 2 : Prepare the Clay Motifs
- We will make the base of the tree and fish motifs using Mouldit.
- Mix Mouldit resin base and hardener to create an even dough.
- Roll the dough into a medium-thin slab with a rolling pin, then mark and cut out the tree and fish motifs from the slab. Let them dry.
STEP 3 : Paint the Clay Motifs and Canvas
- Stick the tree and fish motifs onto the canvas with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
- Use the 3D Outliner Black 708 and Glass Colours of your choice to draw and paint the trees and fish. Paint the background with Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, White 27, and Cerulean Blue 32. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Final Look
- Your canvases with the tree mural will look like this.
