Description :
I made this Tie and Dye cotton dupatta. It can be adorned using mirrors or lace embroidery etc. I used Fevicryl Acrylic Colours.
STEP 1
Wash the new cotton or voile white dupatta fabric.
I crumpled the dupatta and after folding it in half lengthwise tied it with thread keeping some distance.
STEP 2
I used more than one color.
STEP 3
In a bowl ,I took some water dipped a thick brush in water then in color.
You can dilute Fevicryl Acrylic Colours by adding little water. With brush, start coloring with your desired colour scheme.
STEP 4
Let it dry completely. Untie the threads and open it up.
Iron it when it is completely dry.
The color does not bleed. Ironing will fix the color.
