You Will Need:

Acrylic Colours Black 02, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Black And Green Colour Glass Beads, Golden Beads, Mount Board, Paper Canvas, Black Thread And Needle, Scissors, Pencil, A4 Sized White Paper, White And Yellow Carbon Paper, Jewellery Attachments, Ornamental Stones ( small sized golden colour), Tooth pick,

On the occasion of Eid shine brighter! Make a Thewa Jewellery set the easy way yourself. You can customize this thewa jewellery design to match your outfit and even gift it to your friends and family. Here is a super cool Eid DIY of thewa art jewellery!

STEP 1

We start by taking an A4 white paper. Then draw the outline of traditional Thewa jewellery pendant and the earrings on it. Then take paper canvas. Trace the outline of the pendant and the earrings on paper canvas. Make 2 such sets of the pendant and the earrings.

STEP 2

Paint the pendant and the earring using Acrylic Colour Black 02. Let it dry

STEP 3

Draw and trace the Thewa design on the black painted surface using white carbon paper. Cut along the outlines of the pendant and the earrings. You will get 2 similar sets one with the design on it and the other which is just painted black. Then take a small piece of mount board. Cut it in the shape of pendant and the earrings. Sandwich the mount board in between two painted paper canvas pieces for the pendant as well as the earrings; paste them together using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 4

Paint Thewa design on the pieces using Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry. Enhance the pendant and the earrings using small sized golden coloured stones with Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Then attach green and black coloured glass bead on to the pendant with needle and the thread. Similarly attach the black and golden beads strands using needle and black thread. Attach the earring attachments neatly. The Thewa DIY jewellery set is ready! Isn’t this just gorgeous! Do try and let us know what you think about this DIY.
