Description :

Create a mesmerizing artwork on a canvas board where each landscape segment is viewed through the lens of barbed wire. This mixed media project combines painting different landscapes with the depiction of barbed wire to evoke a unique and intriguing visual experience.

STEP 1 : Procure the base and draw the design
  • Take a Fine Art Canvas Board sized 12” X 16”. Sketch out the landscape design on the canvas, ensuring that each part of the landscape will appear as if viewed through barbed wire.
STEP 2 : Paint the Landscapes
  • Use Fevicryl Acrylic Colours to paint various types of landscapes in each segment, such as land pastures, mountains, seascapes, clouds, and sunsets. Ensure that the colors evoke the desired atmosphere and mood. Let the paint dry thoroughly.
STEP 3 : Make the barbed wire
  • Mix Fevicryl Mouldit resin and hardener thoroughly to create an even dough.
  • Shape the dough into a coil to represent the barbed wire.
  • Attach the coil to the canvas to depict the barbed wire separating the different landscape segments using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Allow it to dry completely.
  • Paint the barbed wire with Acrylic Colour Black 02 to enhance its appearance. Let the paint dry completely.
