Snowman Tote Bag

You Will Need:
Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black, Casement fabric, Cotton fabric (orange and red), Buttons, Beads/poth (black), Woolen yarn (dark brown), Fabric scissors, Scale, Pencil, Tracing paper.
Description :
It is winters and doesn’t this chill in the air reminds us of all the cute wintry things like snowballs and a cute snowman! Paint and personalise your tote bag and have some more fun with Fevicryl Fabric Colours and Fabric Glue. Learn more in this recipe.
STEP 1
Take a 16” x 13.5” tracing paper and draw the face of a snowman as seen in the image above using pencil.
STEP 2
Take ½ mt plain casement fabric to create the base of the tote bag. Mark the casement fabric to the size of 16”x 13.5” using a fabric pencil. Mark two such pieces and cut them using fabric scissors. Leave 1/2 “ on all four sides for sticking. Transfer the design on to the casement fabric piece using pencil and carbon paper.
STEP 3
Choose an orange cotton fabric to create the nose of the snowman. Trace the nose of the snowman with all the textures on to the orange cotton fabric. Use a carbon paper to trace the artwork. Make sure to mark ½” extra on all the sides as folding and sticking area. Cut the nose using fabric scissors.
STEP 4
Take a roll of dark brown woolen yarn to create the texture on the nose. Cut the dark brown woolen yarn using fabric scissors and stick them on the carrot nose piece as seen in the image above. Use Fevicryl Fabric glue to stick the yarn on to the fabric piece. Let it dry.
STEP 5
Take a red cotton fabric and Cut 2 strips measuring 18” x 0.75”. apply Fevicryl Fabric Glue on the sides as seen in the image above. Do this on both the strips.
STEP 6
Stick the two strips on each other. Let them dry. Reverse the strip to place the sticking part inside. You can use a barbeque stick or a pin to turn it over.
STEP 7
Make two such strips.
STEP 8
Place the buttons and the carrot nose on the bag piece. Fold the sides of the carrot nose and stick it on the bag piece using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Make sure to not stick the top part of the nose as we need the nose to act like a pouch. Let it dry.
STEP 9
Stick black poth/ beads on the smile with some distance between each poth/bead. This is stuck using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 10
Paint the button using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour – Black as seen in the image above.
STEP 11
Once all the elements are stuck on the bag fabric, Apply Fevicryl Fabric Glue on the sides of the piece. Let it semi dry.
STEP 12
Place the back part of the bag as seen in the image above. Let it dry.
STEP 13
Place the handle on the bag as shown in the image. Use Fevicryl Fabric glue to stick the handles. Let it dry. Do the same on the other side as well.
STEP 14
Turn the bag around to have the design facing outside. Refer to the image above.
STEP 15
Your snowman tote bag with a fun carrot pouch is ready to take over the world.
