Take any two contrasting coloured quilling strips or you may choose the colours you like You will need about 60 strips in two colours to make the base of the box Roll the strips into tight quills and let it loosen a bit in the centre. See the image for reference Shape each rolled quill into a leaf shape

To make the base of the box make 8 petaled flowers in the centre and stick the petals to each other properly using Fevicol MR Firmly stick about 3 to 4 layers of the petals radiating outwards. Refer the image Start building the layer of the petals upwards on the outermost layer of the base Use the petals in alternate colours to form a nice pattern for the box

Build about 8 layers of petals upwards for the wall of the box and stick them properly using Fevicol MR

Roll a tight quill disk measuring same as that of the inner circumference of the box

To make the flower on the lid of the box, you will need to make loose quills in two colours To make the two coloured loose quill, join two coloured papers at their ends to make a long paper strip and roll it on the slotted quilling tool to make loose quills There are 3 sizes of loose quills for the three layers of petals of the flower. The lower most layer has bigger sized loose quills of about 10 in number. The middle layer with the medium sized loose quills are with about 8 in number, and the smallest upper layer with 6 petals

Arrange and stick the tear drops in the 3 layers on the disk made earlier

Take a pink coloured quilling strip and cut even fringes on the strip

Roll the fringed strip of paper on the quilling tool to make a fringed flower Stick the end firmly using Fevicol MR

Stick the fringed flower in the centre of the lid to give a final touch
