You Will Need:

Natural clay – Grey , Rolling Stamps. Water Container, Pencil, Scale / Clay Modelling Tools, Rolling Pin, Rag

Description :

This hand printed clay plaque is an engaging activity for children to motivate them to play with clay. There is this fantastic clay quality that kids can experience and enjoy to print alot of other textures and shape on clay.

STEP 1
Take all the clay from the packet and roll it into a ball
STEP 2
Flatten the clay into a pancake with the lateral side of your hand Seal the cracks as and when they appear by wetting your fingers a bit in water and merging the clay You may also roll it with the help of a rolling pin
STEP 3
Place your hand on the clay pancake and press each finger and the palm with the help of another hand to get a good impression oin the clay
STEP 4
Use a rolling stamp to create the design around the hand print.
STEP 5
Pierce two holes on the top side of the handprint for hanging the plaque. Leave the plaque to dry completely You may colour the plaque using Acrylic Colours or Tempera Colours in the colour shades of your choice
