Create a beautiful holder using a terracotta mug, Mouldit, and Pastel colors to gift to your mom on this special occasion.
STEP 1 : Procure the Base
- Begin by taking a prewashed terracotta mug.
- Ensure it's clean and ready for crafting.
STEP 2 : Paint the Base Coat
- Paint the mug with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27.
- Allow it to dry completely.
STEP 3 : Prepare the Clay and Build the Design
- Mix Mouldit resin and hardener thoroughly to create an even dough.
- Use the dough to build motifs on the mug. Create the word “Mom”, a rainbow with daisy flowers, and small hearts using clay modelling tools and Fabric Glue.
- Allow the clay to dry and set.
STEP 4 : Paint the Design on the Mug
- Once the clay design is dry, paint it using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours White 27 and Pastel Colours from the kit.
- Paint tiny hearts around the clay design with Pastel Pink or a color of your choice. Allow the paint to dry completely.
STEP 5 : Final Look
- Your beautiful Mother’s Day mug is now ready to be gifted to your mom. It can also serve as a lovely holder for her personal desk or space.
