Mom Selfie Frame

You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Lemon Yellow 03, Orange 17, Pink 18, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Fevicol A+, Fine Art Brushes, A3 Light Pink Card Papers, Corrugated Box Board, Paper Cutter, Ruler, Pencil, Scissors, Quilling Tool, Glue Gun, Colour Palette, Water Container.
Description :
Each Mom is indeed a queen and to celebrate her this Mothers’ Day make a special selfie frame for her. Made with things found around the house and Fevicryl Colours this will be ready is a jiffy!STEP 1 : Making the frame
• Take the flap of the corrugated box measuring 15” x 15” in size.
• Mark 3” from all the borders in the centre of the flap to make a concentric square. Cut the inner square with a paper cutter.
STEP 2 : Making the crown
• Similarly draw the crown on the piece of corrugated flap, cut and remove the excess area around the crown with a paper cutter.
STEP 3 : Joining the frame and crown together
• Attach the crown on the frame using Fevicol A+ and reinforcing it by sticking a piece of the paper from the rear side of the frame or use a glue gun. Leave it to dry completely.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Painting a base coat
• Paint the frame and the crown with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
• Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Painting the frame with Pastel shades
• Draw the radiating squares around the frame in equal distance and lines on the crown. Refer to the image.
• Paint the radiating squares and the lines with pastel shades using Acrylic Colours Lemon Yellow 03, Orange 17, Pink 18, Sky Blue 63 by adding White 27 in it.
• Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Making paper roses
• We are going to make the paper roses to enhance the frame.
• Take A3 pink card papers, draw and Cut the squares randomly approximately 3” x 3” and 4” x 4” sized out of it.
• Cut the squares spirally from the outer edge towards the centre of the square to make the flowers.
• Quill the spiral square with quilling tool and stick the end with Fevicol A+.
• Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Sticking the roses
• Make about 15 such small and big roses from the paper.
• Stick the flowers near the crown and towards the bottom side edge of the frame with Glue gun.
• Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Finishing the frame
• Write a few lines like “Best mom ever, Best mom in the world, Thank you mom you are the best, love mom” on the frame randomly along with tiny hearts, flowers and crown.
• Paint the messages with Acrylic Colour Pink 18 and White 27.
• Leave it to dry completely.
