Maze Fridge Magnet
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Lemon Yellow 11, Sky Blue 63, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Rolling Pin, Compass, Pencil, Paper Cutter, Ruler, Fridge Magnet, Colourful Beads (Round), Colour Palette, Water Container.
Description :
Remember the time the maze was a must have and most of the play time used to go in getting those pesky balls to the center of the maze. Recreate those fun times by making some fun maze magnets with Fevicryl Mouldit.
STEP 1 : Mixing Fevicryl Mouldit
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Rolling the dough
• Take the dough; roll it to make a medium thin slab using a rolling pin.
• Mark and cut the circle measuring approximately 3 ½” for the base of the maze.
STEP 3 : Cutting the strips
• Mark and cut 1cm clay strips for the maze.
• Let it get semi dry.
STEP 4 : Assembly
• Your maze base and the strips for the walls of the maze will look like this.
STEP 5 : Sticking the strips on the base
• Mark the pattern of the maze on the base and stick the strips of clay accordingly with Fabric Glue.
• Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Make 2 mazes
• Make 2 such mazes from the clay.
STEP 7 : Colouring
• Paint the maze with a base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
• Paint both the mazes with Acrylic Colours Lemon Yellow 11 and Sky Blue 63. Leave it to dry completely.
• Stick the magnets on the rear side of the maze with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Finishing
• Take an OHP sheet.
• Mark and cut the OHP in the size of the Maze.
• Place 4 to 5 beads in each maze.
• Stick the cut OHP circle on the top of the Maze using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
