Mandala Rangoli

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Orange 17, Pink 18, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62, Teal Blue 68, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, 10” Diameter MDF Circle, A3 White Paper, Black Carbon Paper, Pencil, Assorted Mirrors, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Create a vibrant mandala-inspired rangoli using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and mirrors. 

STEP 1 : Procure the Base
  • Take a 10” diameter MDF circle for the base.  

  • This will be used to make your mandala rangoli with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and mirrors. 

STEP 2 : Paint the Base Coat & Trace the Design
  • Apply a base coat using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27 and let it dry. 

  • On A3 white paper, draw a floral mandala design.  

  • Use black carbon paper to trace the design onto the painted MDF base. 

STEP 3 : Paint the Design
  • Paint the design using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Orange 17, Pink 18, Prussian Blue 19, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62, and Teal Blue 68.  

  • Let the colours dry completely. 

STEP 4 : Paint the Outline
  • Outline the mandala with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27 to give it definition. Let it dry. 

STEP 5 : Enhance the Rangoli
  • Stick assorted mirrors within the mandala design using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.  

  • Let the glue dry thoroughly. 

 

STEP 6 : Final Look
  • Your mandala rangoli with mirrors is now ready to brighten your home for the festival of lights!
