You Will Need:

Description :
Here come an uber cute and cool DIY for you! A door knocker shaped like a joker made from Fevicryl Mouldit. Make this for kids or friends and spread some cheer!
STEP 1 : Mixing of Mouldit clay
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Divide Mouldit clay to make body parts
• Take the dough; divide it to make the body parts of the joker in simple way.
• Take the dough; roll it to make a round shape for the head, another ball to make oval shape for the middle body parts and some dough for the hat of joker.
• Take some dough to make a medium thin slab to make the loose pants of the joker.
• Refer to the image.
• Leave it till semi dry.
STEP 3 : Making basic features
• Take some dough to make the shoulders, the hands and the nose appropriately.
• Shape the body parts with pinching technique.
• Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Assembly and base coat of the upper body
• Join the body parts to one another using little amount of Fabric Glue.
• Make the details of the jokers face like big nose, hair, the frill towards the neckline, buttons of the dress with little dough using clay carving tools for the appropriate textures.
• Pierce the holes towards the ends of the shoulder, the stomach and at the end of the hat with needle.
• Let it dry.
• After drying paint the upper body of the joker with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Assembly and base coat of the lower body
• Take some dough to make boots of the joker. Let it get semi dry.
• Similarly take the rolled slab, cut it appropriately with paper cutter in shape of baggy pants of the joker.
• Pierce the holes towards the upper side and the bottom side of the joker pants as well as on the shoes with a needle.
• Let it dry.
• After drying paint the pants and the shoes of the joker with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Putting the parts together
• The joker after a white base coat will look like this.
STEP 7 : Painting the joker
• Paint the joker with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17, Turquoise Blue 22, White 27, Flesh Tint 30 and Neon Orange 017.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 8 : Finishing the joker
• Join the body parts of the joker with a black cord.
• Take the cord and the colourful wooden beads to dangle the joker, securing the ends with the knot.
• Apply 2 to 3 coats of Modge podge Gloss on the joker to secure the colours.
• Leave it to dry.
