You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours White 27, Teal Blue 68, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours Golden Yellow 852, Crystal Green 854, Ultramarine Blue 859, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Water Container, A4 Sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, MDF Wooden Placemat, Metal Hooks, Golden Thread, Plywood Based For Jhula, Pencil, Ruler

Description :
Janamasthmi is around the corner and here is a DIY for the occasion. Make a cute Jhula for little Balakrishna and enrich the Janamasthmi experience.
STEP 1
Take the MDF wooden place mat. Draw and cut the placemat measuring 4” x 5” for the base of Jhula, 2 pieces of 1” x 4” for the sides and 5” x 2 ½” for the back side of the Jhula. Take the back side piece of Jhula , draw and cut the dome shape neatly. Paint all the pieces with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
STEP 2
Paint the pieces of Jhula with Acrylic Colours Teal Blue 68. Let it dry.
STEP 3
Take an A4 sized white paper. Draw and trace a peacock with a small creeper on the dome and an ornamental creeper on the base.
STEP 4
Paint the outline of the design with 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry.
STEP 5
Paint the design on the base of the Jhula with water based Glass Colours Golden Yellow 852, Crystal Green 854 and Ultramarine Blue 859 respectively. Leave it to dry.
STEP 6
Take the plywood base to dangle the Jhula for Balkrishna.
STEP 7
Paint the plywood base of the Jhula with Acrylic Colours White 27 and Teal Blue 68 respectively. Similarly paint the ornamental creeper design on the border line of the plywood base with water based Glass Colours Golden Yellow 852, Crystal Green 854 and Ultramarine Blue 859. Attach the two side pieces and the back rest to the rectangular base of the Jhula with small sized nails. Take the metal hooks; pierce the hooks to the rectangular base of the Jhula on four corners neatly. Take the golden coloured thread and dangle the Jhula on the horizontal rod of the plywood base.
