Jhola Bag

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery - Red 701, Blue 702, Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Pearl - White 301, Black 306, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, A4 Sized White Paper, A4 Sized Black Carbon Paper, Pencil, Ruler, Scissors, 1 Meter Mustard Coloured Polycot Fabric, Latkan Of Colourful Beads, Fabric Marking Chalk.

Description :
A lovely a bright jhola bag that is an ideal gift to give someone who loves bags. The motifs and pattern are very different from what one sees today. Can be pared with both, a western look as well as an Indian outfit.
STEP 1
Take an A4 sized white paper. Draw few traditional Russian embroidery motifs which have a border along with it.
STEP 2
Take the mustard coloured polycot fabric. Follow the image of the origami fold for the jhola bag as seen on below.
STEP 3
Open up the folds and mark the folds with a fabric marking chalk.
STEP 4
Trace the Russian embroidery design along with it's border using black carbon paper.
STEP 5
Outline the design with Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery - Red 701, Blue 702, Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Pearl - White 301 and Black 306. Leave it to dry.
STEP 6
Fold the fabric on the marked lines and stick the folds with a little amount of Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Mark the folded lines which would have to be stitched later from the inner side of the bag.
STEP 7
Stitch the jhola bag along with the belt to make it more sturdy. Decorate it with the latkan of colourful beads. Refer to the main image.
