You Will Need:

How spooky is this Halloween DIY! Made using discarded plastic bottles make the best out of waste to usher in some eerie vibes with this project.
STEP 1 : Source the base
- We are going to make the Halloween décor using the Plastic bottle, Tissue paper and Mouldit.
- Take 2 cold drink bottles of 1 litre cold drink.
- Mark and cut the base of the bottle to make the pumpkin and the upper side of the bottle to make the haunted house.
STEP 2 : Make the top and base of the house
- Cover and shape the upper side of the bottle to make the witch hat using news paper, tissue paper sticking with Fabric Glue and masking tape.
- Let it dry.
- Similarly make the base of the bottle look like a thick stem of pumpkin.
STEP 3 : Mix Mouldit
- We are going to cover the bottles with Mouldit.
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 4 : Make the shape of the house
- Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thin slabs with rolling pin.
- Cover the house shape and the pumpkin with the clay slab using Fabric Glue for sticking and use clay carving tools to create textures.
- Let it dry completely.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Paint the house
- Paint the haunted house and the pumpkin with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Brown 05, Dark Green 06, Light Green 12 and Orange 17.
- Let it dry completely.
