Gulal Potli
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery White 301, Plain white poplin cloth, Scraps of colourful fabric, Ruler, Cord, Pencil, Scissors
Description :
Make cute little potlis from bits of fabric to gift gulal to near and dear ones on the auspicious occasion of Holi. These colourful potlis are sure to bring a cheer to everyone.STEP 1
Take a plain 10 by 10 inches white fabric and mark 1/ 2 inch from three sides and 2 inches from the top using a ruler and a pencil as shown in the image.
STEP 2
Now leaving the borders mark equal squares on the fabric.
STEP 3
Cut squares of the same size for the colourful fabric scraps.
STEP 4
Arrange them aesthetically on the white cloth and stick them with Fabric Glue leaving the borders
Leave it to dry.
Then enhance the border of the squares with Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery White 301. Let it dry.
STEP 5
Turn it and apply Fevicryl Fabric Glue on the top and fold the border to make a channel for a cord.
STEP 6
Similarly apply Fabric Glue at the bottom and on the side and stick them together to make a pocket.
Let it dry
STEP 7
Then string a cord along the channel and tie it at one end.
The gulal potli is ready.
