You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky - Black 708, Fevicryl - Water Based - Glass Colours - Golden Yellow 852, Sea Blue 853, Crystal Green 854, Ultramarine Blue 859, Orange 860, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Water Container, Colour Palette, Aluminium Thali, A3 Sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Ornamental Stones (Small Sized Orange Colour).

Are you expecting unexpected guest for Holi? That is exactly what this festival is about, leave your inhibitions behind and play Holi with your friends and family. We have a  colourful thali painted with Glass Colours to make applying gulal a much pleasing ritual for your guest this time over. 
STEP 1
Take plain aluminium thali. Sponge the thali with a base coat of Acrylic Colour - White 27. Leave it to dry.
STEP 2
Paint the inner wall of the thali with a shade of blue using Acrylic Colours - Ultramarine Blue 23 and White 27. Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 3
Take an A3 sized white paper and draw a mandala design on it. Trace the same design in the centre of the thali with yellow carbon paper. Refer to the image to see the placement.
STEP 4
Paint the outline of the mandala design with 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky - Black 708. Let it dry.
STEP 5
Paint the design with Water Based - Glass Colours - Golden Yellow 852, Sea Blue 853, Crystal Green 854, Ultramarine Blue 859 and Orange 860. Leave it to dry.
STEP 6
Enhance the thali by sticking the small sized orange coloured ornamental stones on the edges of the thali with Fabric Glue. You could use your own choice of colours for each of the petals on the thali and make it all the more attractive.
