Description :
Upcycle you plain old box into a gorgeous trove of mementoes and treasures with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours. The DIY is surely going to be a satisfying one.
STEP 1 : Source the base
- We are going to paint the box with the Mughal jali design with Acrylic colours and 3D outliners.
- Take the plain MDF wooden box. Paint the box with the base coat of Acrylic Colour white 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 2 : Paint the base.
- Paint the box lid in shade of bottle green and the walls of the box in off white shade using Acrylic Colours Dark Green 06, Sap Green 21 , Lemon Yellow 11 and White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Draw and transfer the design
- Take an A3 white paper, draw the jali design with flower on it in the size of the lid of the box and date tree for the walls on it.
- Trace the same design on the lid of the box and the walls of the box with white and yellow carbon paper.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
- Paint the design with Acrylic Colours Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Dark Brown 05, Lemon Yellow 11, Sap Green 21 , White 27 and Salmon Pink 65.
- Leave it to dry completely.
- Enhance and paint the outline of the design with 3 D Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
- Let it dry completely.
