Description :
Prepare a beautiful, handcrafted bajot (small Pooja table) for your festive celebrations! This article combines the art of clay modelling with vibrant painting and mirror work to create a stunning, festive piece. The rich colours and sparkling details will add a touch of tradition and elegance to your pooja space.
STEP 1 : Procure the Base
- Let us decorate a bajot for this festive season!
- Start by taking a plain wooden bajot.
STEP 2 : Paint the base
- Using a colour from your Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Carnival Kit, paint the entire base.
- A bright, festive shade will be a perfect canvas for your designs.
- Let the paint dry completely.
STEP 3 : Sculpt and Attach the Clay
- Take your Fevicryl Mouldit, mix the resin and hardener thoroughly to create an even dough. Using your clay modelling tools, sculpt different shapes and designs from the clay.
- Once your clay pieces are ready, use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them onto the bajot's surface, creating a beautiful pattern.
- Let the clay and glue dry completely.
STEP 4 : Add Colour to the Clay
- Using your Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Carnival Kit, start painting the clay designs.
- The clay can absorb a lot of paint, so you may need to apply a double coat to make sure the colours are solid and vibrant.
STEP 5 : Embellish with Mirrors
- Once all the painting is complete, use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick assorted mirrors onto the bajot.
- Place them strategically within the designs to add a beautiful, traditional sparkle that is perfect for a festive occasion.
STEP 6 : Final Look
- Your beautifully decorated bajot is now ready to hold your pooja items and bring a vibrant, celebratory feel to your home.
