Glass Bottle Painting With Bull Heads
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27, Coral Red 66, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Two Glass Bottles, Ruler, All Surface Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container, Clay Carving Tools
STEP 1 : Paint the glass bottle base
• We are going to make the decorative bottles inspired from the traditional Channapatna toys.
• Take two small glass bottles.
• Paint the bottle with base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 2 : Painting the glass bottles
• Mark and paint the horizontal stripes on the bottles with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27 and Coral Red 66.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 3 : Making Mouldit dough
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 4 : Moulding the dough into bull heads.
• Take the dough and divide it in to two equal parts.
• Leave the dough till semi dry so that it is easy to make the shapes.
• Shape the dough; make the head of the bull in a simple manner by giving the slight quirky look. Embed beads in the place of the eye.
• Refer to the image.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 5 : Painting the bull heads
• Paint the bull heads with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, Sap Green 21, White 27 and Coral Red 66.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 6 : Finishing the decorative glass bottles
• Take some dough; roll it to make a thick coil.
• Stick the painted bull heads along with the coil and little amount of Fabric Glue on the bottle.
• Paint the base cap and the ring below the bull head with Acrylic Colour Chrome Yellow 03.
• Leave it to dry.
