File Folder With Mandala Art

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Maroon 14, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Cardboard file, yellow fabric (half meter), A4 white paper, red or black carbon, pencil, colour palette, water container

Description :

Create a beautifully decorated file folder with a mandala design for organizing your documents. 

STEP 1 : Procure the Base
  • Get a ready-made cardboard file and a fabric of your choice.  

  • This will be used as a base for decorating and to keep your documents organized. 

STEP 2 : Prepare and Attach Fabric
  • Cut thick casement fabric to the size of the file folder, covering it fully to add sturdiness, and secure it using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry. 

STEP 3 : Draw & Trace the Design
  • Cover the file folder with yellow fabric using Fevicryl Fabric Glue and allow it to dry. 

  • Draw a mandala design on A4 paper and trace it onto the yellow fabric using red carbon paper.  

  • Paint the design with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Maroon 14, White 27, and Cerulean Blue 32. Let it dry. 

STEP 4 : Finishing Touches
  • Paint the outline of the design to give it a crisp finish. Let it dry. 

STEP 5 : Paint the Border
  • Paint a black border on all sides with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02, then let it dry. 

STEP 6 : Final Look
  • Your beautifully decorated mandala file folder is now ready to use.
