Description :
A durry that is simply rich and elegant. Made with fabric, Fevicryl Fabric Colours and the pattern inspired from the adire style patterns from a tribe in Africa.
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- We are making a durry inspired by motifs as seen in the Adire tribe of Africa.
- Take A3 white papers. Draw the motifs from the Adire Yoruba tribe measuring 18” x 24” in size.
STEP 2 : Trace the design
- Take a dark blue fabric measuring 18” × 24” in size.
- Trace the design on it using white carbon paper.
STEP 3 : Paint the design
- Paint with Fevicryl Fabric Colours - 227 and Sky Blue 63.
- Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 4 : Final look
- Stitch and secure the edges neatly.
- Take the tassels and stitch along the sides towards the opposite edges.
