Dupatta With Gota Patti Design

You Will Need:
Fevicryl Fabric Colours Orange 217, White 227, Fevicryl 3D Outliner White 707, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Cotton Dupatta, Tailoring Chalk, Gold and Silver Cut daana, Gold and Silver Gota Patti, Small Red Glass Beads (Poth), Golden Beads, Needle & Thread, Ornamental White Stones, Colour Palette, Water Container.

The festive season is here and here is a DIY gorgeous gota patti dupatta DIY to wow everyone!
STEP 1 : Dyeing the base
• We are going to colour and decorate a dupatta with the Fevicryl Fabric colours, gota patti, cut daana, ornamental beads and stones.
• Take a cotton dupatta, dye the dupatta with a light shade of orange made by mixing Fabric Colours Orange 217 and White 227.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 2 : Making the border
• Mark simple border towards both the ends of the dupatta.
• Stick the gota patti on the borderline of the dupatta with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
• Stick the gota patti flowers of golden and silver colour along with the golden tear drop shaped gota patti above the border to make the border design on the dupatta with Fabric Glue.
STEP 3 : Painting the outline
• Paint the outlines of the floral design using 3D Outliner White 707 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 4 : Making flower motifs all over the dupatta
• Similarly make the random floral design all over on the dupatta and one big flower in the centre using tear drop shaped gota patti, Gold And Silver Cutdaana, Small Red Glass Beads (Poth) and Ornamental White Stones using Fabric Glue.
• Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Making tassels
• Similarly make the tassels using the piece of the dyed fabric, gota patti and golden beads.
