Who said chopping boards are just for the kitchen? Turn yours into a stunning wall hanging with this DIY Chopping Board with Wooden Block! 

A décor art inspired by block printing is what this DIY is with using basic materials, we have composed this art piece. The enhancements have been done delicately using Fevicryl Mouldit for the coils and Fevicryl Glass Colours to get a glossy finish.

Create this DIY using Fevicryl Glass Colours and Fevicryl Mouldit and chop chop into creativity! 

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take a wooden Chopping board. 

STEP 2 : Paint the base coat

Paint it with a basecoat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colours White 27. Let it dry. 

STEP 3 : Paint the second coat

Paint the chopping board with a second coat of Fevicryl Glass Colours Pink. Let it dry. 

STEP 4 : Prepare the dough

Take Fevicryl Mouldit – resin base & hardener, mix evenly to form a soft dough.  

STEP 5 : Build the ornamental shapes

Take the dough, roll it to make thin coils. Build the design on the edges of the chopping board with the coils and paste them using Fevicryl Fabric Glue, let it dry.  

STEP 6 : Paint the block print design

Take the wooden bird block, paint the bird design on the painted surface using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry. 

STEP 7 : Finished look for the clay work

Take the wooden paisley block, stick the block in the centre of the chopping board with Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Take the coils and repeat the similar coil design around the block.  

STEP 8 : Final look

Paint the coil design with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours White 27. Leave it to dry. Your chopping board with block printing will look like this.
