You Will Need:

Fevicryl Pearl Rose Pink 310, Pearl Metallic Silver 351, Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Pearl Metallic Green 357, Sparkling Pearl Light Pink 913, Sparkling Pearl Magenta 915, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Glitter Gold 401, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Fine Art Canvas Sheet, Colour Palette, Decoupage Round Placemat ,Water Container, A4 sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Purple Ornamental Stones, Paper Cutter, Sponge

Description :

This 3D festive rangoli is made using a canvas sheet and is brightly painted to add colours to your celebrations. This rangoli can also be used to keep a tealite in the house or as a centre table piece

STEP 1
Take a round wooden placemat
STEP 2
Sponge dab Pearl Metallic Gold as a base coat on the placemat You may give two coats for an even finish Let it dry
STEP 3
Draw a floral design on the paper in the circle measuring 10 inches in diameter Refer to the image Trace it on the canvas using carbon paper
STEP 4
Cut the petals halfway using a sharp paper cutter
STEP 5
Colour the lotus in a gradation of pink made by mixing Pearl Rose Pink and Pearl Metallic Silver Leave it to dry Cut out the colored lotus from the canvas sheet The triangular cut outs in between the petals are kept aside to be painted later Roll the petals upwards using a pencil
STEP 6
Stick the lotus in the centre of the painted placemat using Fabric Glue
STEP 7
Highlight the lotus petals by outlining them with 3D Outliner Glitter Gold Leave it to dry
STEP 8
The triangular shapes left after cutting the lotus flower are painted using Pearl Metallic Green
STEP 9
Stick the triangular pieces on the edge of the placemat using Fabric Glue. Further stick the ornamental stones to complete the look You may place a diya or a tealite in the centre of the rangoli
