Bugs On Embroidery Rings
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Copper 353, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Sparkling Pearl Dark Blue 904, Golden Black 917, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, A4 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Half a Meter Off White Casement Fabric, 6” Diameter Embroidery Ring, Ornamental Beads ( Golden), Ornamental Stones (Small, Black), Cut dana (Small, Black), Wooden Beads, Thread/ Cord (Black, Copper, Blue Coloured), Ball Chain, Scissors, Colour Palette, Water Container

Don’t let things bug you, make them magnificent and beautiful! We have literally taken inspiration from the quote and made these beautiful bug rings with Fevicryl Fabric Colours and Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
STEP 1 : Making the design on the fabric
• Take an A4 white paper. Draw two different types of bugs with a check pattern. These checks will help you to paint cross stitch embroidery pattern on it.
• Take half a meter off white casement fabric. Mark and cut the pieces of the fabric.
• Trace the designs on the pieces of the fabric with yellow carbon paper.
• Attach the embroidery rings to the piece of fabrics to make it easy for painting.
STEP 2 : Painting one bug
• Paint the bugs by replicating the cross stitch embroidery effect with the brush using Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Copper 353 and Acrylic Colours Sparkling Pearl Golden Black 917.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 3 : Painting the second bug
• Similarly paint the bug with Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Copper 353, Acrylic Colours Sparkling Pearl Golden Black 917 and Dark Blue 904.
• Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Enhancing the bugs
• Enhance the bugs and the periphery of the rings with unique effects using golden ornamental beads; small black cut dana, wooden beads, black, copper, blue coloured thread/ cord, ball chain as well as the small black ornamental stones for the eyes of the bugs using Fabric Glue.
• Leave it to dry completely.
• Secure the edges of the fabric on the rear side of the embroidery ring by sticking it with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
