You Will Need:

Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Readymade Blouse Green or Any Colour, Measuring Tape, Fabric Chalk or Pencil, Barbeque Stick, Compass, Small Golden Beads, Square Shaped Golden Beads, Golden Poth, Half Cut Golden Stones (Drop Shape, Round Shape Big And Small), Golden Chakri, Green Coloured Stones Drop Shape, Round Shape, Lace, Green Silk Fabric, Golden Yarn, Golden Beads For Latkan Big Drop Shape, Big Round Shape, Needle.

A Beautiful, traditional deep green coloured blouse with stones stuck on them that look like dew drops that land on leaves early in the morning. A graceful, elegant blouse that would look perfect as part of your bridal trousseau when teamed up with your beautiful kanjeevaram saree.

 

 

STEP 1 : Purchase / find a Saree blouse with sleeves.

• Preferably in green colour.

STEP 2 : Draw design

• Using the compass and fabric pencil, draw two or more consecutive circles on the sleeves as shown. • Make sure to draw them in the center and slightly big. • Draw these circles on both the sleeves.

STEP 3 : Embellishments on the sleeves

• Start sticking the drop shaped stones and golden poth in a circular manner as seen in the image. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick these stones.

STEP 4 : Finish the circle

• Using the rest of the embellishments like round green stone/half cut round golden stone/ golden beads, continue with the same design on the sleeve as seen in the image. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick the stones. • Let it dry. • The design goes in circles. You can choose to do your variation with in the circle using these embellishments.

STEP 5 : Decoration of the entire sleeve

• Do the same circular design on the other sleeve as well. • Cover the rest of the sleeve around the circle with poth and big golden chakri as seen in the image. • Lace with danglers has been used at the edge of the sleeves t give it a good highlight and border. • Outline the lace with poth, stone lace and green half cut stones. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick all these materials on to the sleeves. • Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Making of latkan/ tying at the back

• Take green silk fabric, yarn, tassel and few golden and green beads. • Create a triangular piece as seen in the image using the silk fabric. • It can be stitched or stuck using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

STEP 7 : Fixing the tassels

• Using yarn and needle, thread the beads and sew the triangle piece and the yarn tassel together as seen in the image above. • Stick some green and golden half cut stones on the triangular piece along with poth. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick them. • Let it dry.

STEP 8 : Back of the blouse

• Once the tassels are ready, take the half-cut drop shaped stones and make small flowers on the back of the blouse as seen in the image. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick it. • Let it dry. • Stick golden chakri and poth sparsely around the flowers as seen in the image. Finish the back side by sticking a border similar to the sleeves. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick it. • Let it dry.

STEP 9 : Front of the blouse

• Stick golden chakri and poth sparsely around as seen in the image. Finish the front side by sticking a border similar to the sleeves/ back. • Use Fevicryl Fabric Glue to stick it. • Let it dry. • This elegant and beautiful green blouse is ready to be worn by the bride for her special occasion.
